Art + Ecology in the Southwest

FEATURED: John Sommers Gallery at the University of New Mexico. December 2014.

This work explores our relationship with landscape and the action of collecting souvenirs from the environment to satisfy our need for possession of places important to us. This body of work is divided into field experiments, where small arrangements are created from the landscape, and studio experiments that resulted in a curio-cabinet of found objects and graphite drawings.
